Dr. Raul Florez
Dr. Florez specializes in all aspects of
orthopaedic surgery. He completed his internship in Brockton
Hospital in Brockton, Massachusetts, and Orthopaedic training at
the Lahey Clinic at Boston City Hospital, in Boston,
Massachusetts, as well as residencies in Massachusetts and Long
Island, New York. Dr. Florez received his M.D. degree from the
National University School of Medicine in Bogotį, Colombia. He
is certified in orthopaedic surgery by the American Board of
Orthopaedic Surgery.
Active in the medical profession, Dr. Florez served as an
Instructor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of
Cincinnati Medical Center.
He is a member of the Academy of Medicine of Cincinnati,
American Academy of Cerebral Palsy, American Academy of
Orthopaedic Surgeons, American College of Surgeons, American
Medical Association, Cincinnati Orthopaedic Club, Mid-America
Orthopaedic Association, Ohio State Medical Association, Ohio
State Orthopaedic Association, Pan American Association,
Tri-State Orthopaedic Association, and United States Colombian
Medical Association.Dr. Florez was recognized by the Academy
of Medicine of Cincinnati for 50 years of service to his
profession and has served the Greater Cincinnati Community for
more than 45 years.
