| Dr.
Rajbir Minhas
Dr.
Minhas specializes in the fields of Pain Medicine and Internal
Medicine. His special focus is on nonsurgical (conservative)
spine care including physical therapy, medications, spine
care, therapeutic injections and a wide variety of psychological
and pain interventions. He completed his residency- training
in Internal Medicine at St Luke's/Roosevelt Hospital Center,
Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in
New York City. He received his M.D.from the Government Medical
College in Amristar, India.
Dr. Minhas
is a diplomate of the American Board of Pain Medicine as well
as the American Board of Internal Medicine.
He
is a member of the community of physicians who mentor future
generations of internists. He has served as a member of the
teaching staff at St. John's Episcopal Hospital and Peninsula
General Hospital in Far Rockaway, a community on Long Island.
Prior
to coming to the Freiberg Spine Institute, Dr. Minhas served
as Chief of Medical Services and Acting Medical Director at
Montana State Hospital in Warm Springs.
Dr.
Minhas is a member of the American Academy of Pain Medicine.
Dr.
Minhas has served as an investigator in clinical trials for
new medicines. He has been a presenter at conferences in the
US and India on several topics within the field of Internal
Medicine. He has published articles on many topics in medical
journals.
