Dr. Sambhu Choudhury

Dr. Choudhury specializes in pediatric
orthopaedics, total joint replacements, and shoulder/elbow surgery. He is
board certified in orthopaedics. He
completed a fellowship in Pediatric Orthopaedics at the Children’s Hospital
Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. He completed his internship and
orthopaedic residency at the Mayo Clinic. He received his M.D. from Thomas
Jefferson University Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is a
graduate of the Six-Year Accelerated Program Pre-medical-Medical Program at
Penn State University.
He is an active member of the community of physicians who mentor future
generations of orthopaedic surgeons. He has served as an assistant to Dr. James
Hunter at the Hand Research Center and a lecturer in pathology at Thomas
Jefferson University. He has performed volunteer service at Beth Israel Medical
Center, St. Michael’s Medical Center (New Jersey), and at Newark Surgical
Center (New Jersey).
Dr. Choudhury is a member of the Mayo Alumni Association, the Ohio State
Medical Society, the Academy of Medicine of Cincinnati, the American Medical
Association, the National Board of Medical Examiners, and the Cincinnati
Orthopaedic Club.
