Dr. Lee Shaftel
Dr. Shaftel specializes in multiple areas of orthopaedic care.
He completed his internship and residency in General and
Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Cincinnati Medical
Center. He received his M.D. from the Chicago Medical
School/University of Health Services. He received his pre-med
degree from Syracuse University.
He is certified in orthopaedic surgery by the American Board of
Orthopaedic Surgery.
Dr. Shaftel serves as the team physician for the Sycamore High
School lacrosse and hockey teams.
He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons,
the American Medical Association, the Cincinnati Academy of
Medicine, the Cincinnati Orthopaedic Society, the Clinical
Orthopaedic Society, the Ohio Orthopaedic Society, and the Ohio
State Medical Association.
